Contemporary Pottery (AKA The Gourmet Potter) was founded in 1990. Our company is the result of 20 years of production pottery experience. Corrie Tutt is the decorator and creator of all designs, which makes our line so popular. Patrick Tutt is the potter who hand throws each item we sell. Our pottery if very durable: Oven Proof, Microwave & Dishwasher Safe, & Extremely chip resistant.
The Gourmet Potter was born when our focus moved from kitchen-counter top items to our food serving set, "The Party Set", which is centered around the awesome foundation of our dip chiller.
